SICK, SICK, SICK

I haven't been around for the past couple of days as I have been sick with the flu...and I already had a flu shot about a month ago. All I can think of is that it is H1N1. But since I am not compromised in any other way, I am not seeing severe symptoms. But this is truly how I have felt...OK and looked! I'll be back up to snuff in a couple more days!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!

  1. Oh dear....I was sooooooooooooo there last week...missed a week of work...doctor said...No..No H1N1 but now I picked up the son from University for the weekend cause he is so sick and off we are to the clinic to make sure he is fine. I have to say I agree with my good family docotor and friend....there is sooo much hype.....it is another flu...just a very serious strain of one....but not to over worry....just keep healthy and germ free the regular way. It is who you will come in contact and what they carry which is the unknown....sigh...and that is hard to control. Yesterday I was at Walmart and the cashiers were using gloves...and the ESL school down the way had students wearing masks....good grief! Well dear, I hope it is just a regular...stay in your bed...kind of flu. You probably just need a good long rest! TAke care...slow down...read a book...and BOO!!!!

  3. Linda,my friend, I am so sorry to hear that you are sick with the flu. Ugh! The fatigue and the body aches...

I too been under the weather this past week and my wagon is draggin'. I work for a large regional hospital and they sent out a chart for the difference in symptoms for the flu and for the HlN1 virus. I just have the flu, thank heavens. I am fortunate enough to be able to do my job at home full time, a mixed blessing. It's hard to call in sick when I can still prop myself at my desk, plodding along, wishing for the looong day to end.

I wish you a speedy recovery, my friend. In the meantime, I shall look forward to your delicious posts!
